Live in dreams Sunday girl.

(From Left to right: Liz Earle 'Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer', Liz Earle 'Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser', Clinique '7 day scrub cream', Johnson's 'Daily Moisturiser', Liz Earle 'Deep Cleansing Mask', Simple 'Kind to Eyes, Eye Make-up Remover'.

I know nearly every blogger has posted about their daily beauty routine at least once in their blogging life, and mine is probably very similar to many other girls', but I thought I'd give it a go and shed my own opinion on the products I love to use on a daily or weekly basis!
Liz Earle always manages to obtain fantastic reviews no matter what you're reading. I first got hold of the products when my mum introduced them to me after complaining about my ultra-sensitive and terribly spotty skin as a teenager. I started by just using the Cleanse and Polish and was instantly hooked! With natural ingredients such as, Rosemary and Chamomile I noticed an imediate difference: my skin was calmer, moisturised and less spotty! The Instant Boost Skin Tonic is a perfect pick-me-up after the gym or when you want a good skincare routine. I find the spritzer much more economical than the original tonic as you don't find yourself overloading the cotton pad with liquid; and being a student, I definitely can't afford this stuff on a regular basis! I have also tried the Liz Earle moisturiser for combination skin, however my budget does not usually stretch that far so I am usually in search of a good alternative moisturiser. The Johnson's daily moisturiser is a good one for those with skin that is often both oily and dry. It tends to soak in easily without leaving an oily residue, and at only £4.99 a pot, you can't go wrong! Both the Clinique 7 day scrub and the Liz Earle face mask are weekly treatments I tend to use when my skin feels tired from a week of makeup and too many long nights. The scrub can be applied to dry skin and gently buffs away dead skin cells. I usually splash my face with water to remove the product and reveal softer skin! The mask helps draws out any impurities, and believe me, I have plenty of those! Finally, the eye makeup remover is perfect for those with sensitive eyes. I am forever looking for one which doesn't sting of harm the delicate skin around the eyes but still takes off all traces of makeup; this one beats the rest hands-down, everytime!

Let's tie our love like a piece of string.

Since all things crafty and kitsch have made a real come-back lately, I have decided to fill my spare time by learning to knit! Back when I was a child, I remember my Gran teaching me the basics on some very worn knitting needles and a ball of unwanted, bright yellow wool. Recently I've had a real taste for crafting and knitting so headed down to my local fabric shop without hesitation and bought myself some gorgeous mint green wool and knitting needles of 6.5mm. This year's resolutions were all about trying new things and finding new hobbies so I feel this must be a great start (aswell as the ukulele playing, which needs a bit more practise!) I'm using a basic pearl stitch for the scarf. You can find loads of helpful videos on youtube to get you started! I found the "cast-on" slightly tricky so youtube was immensely helpful for that! Below are a few photos of the process! I'm not the best at explaining the process, this is just a rough guide! Enjoy!
Your right needle threads under and through the loop of the left one to create this cross-shape.

The wool is looped around the back of the right needle and through the middle of both needles.

You then pull the right-hand needle out, but not all the way, untill you find the stitch underneath your needle. You can then take the needle underneath the left-hand loop and pull the lopp off the left needle entirely! Now you've made your first stitch!

Your stitch should look something like this! I do recommend youtube videos to give you a start as I'm not the best at explaining! This does take lots of practise and I found I didn't achieve much untill about the 4th attempt! It's all about having patience!

Alexa Chung for Vera Moda...

Once again, Alexa paves the way in the style stakes! Words cannot describe how effortless and stunning she looks campaigning for Vera Moda, and now I want the entire collection!

You go out at night and eat up bars where the people meet.

This week I returned to uni and hoorah! I have a reading week! Although this stills means there's work to be done, it's nice to continue the lie-ins which my body has gotten used to over Christmas! With this in my favour I went out last night to catch up with the friends i've missed! There was lots of wine and even more bad dancing! Perfect! This photo was taken before my face (on the right) turned into a drunken mess! I experimented with a bit of editing and gave it a slight 'lomography' look! Really pleased with it! :) Friday's child xox

'Ever Ours' outfit lust!

Right now I'm lusting over pretty tunic dresses with collars and this one is just perfect! At just £16 it seems too good to be true! Ever Ours is a beautifully chic blog site selling a small collection of vintage inspired clothes and accessories and it's my new-found love! The student loan is in so I think a cheeky purchase has to be made! Check the site out here... http://everours.bigcartel.com/
